What you will do

Our team of professionals help our clients meet their responsibility in the preparation and completion of their annual financial statements and tax returns as well as integrate our advice to include tax and financial planning to ensure them the best result possible.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Administrative duties including monthly time and billing management
- Bookkeeping on Sage Accounting software
- Preparation of Compilation Engagement working paper files, including unaudited financial statements and notes
- Preparation of personal tax returns using Profile
- Preparation of HST returns, WSIB filings, payroll source deduction remittances, and T4,



T5 and T5018 preparation
- Develop and maintain relationships with client management

What you bring to the role You will possess the following skills and behaviours. The prospect to take ownership, progress and succeed is absolutely available to you:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work both independently, with little supervision and within a team environment
- Previous use of Profile, Sage and Caseware programs would be beneficial
- As this is a non-audit position, 2 - 3 years experience in an accounting environment would be ideal but we will consider a recent post-secondary graduate with an entrepreneurial mindset looking for constant challenge and a variety of assignments
- You can demonstrate the ability to apply common sense and logical thought to a variety of business issues and problems that affect the SME owner within a timely manner

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
