Senior QE + AI Engineer – AI-Powered Process Map AutomationWhat is the opportunity?We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Quality Engineering (QE) + AI Engineer to lead the automation and validation of business process workflows across the EPM (TM1) suite of applications.The primary objective of this role is to automate the comparison of business process maps/workflows using AI, identify gaps, inconsistencies, missing steps, deviations and potential control issues, and generate actionable quality reports.The role requires a combination of Quality Engineering, business process understanding, automation and Generative AI expertise. The ideal candidate will be able to understand complex financial workflows, translate process maps into machine-readable representations, leverage AI to compare workflows intelligently, and build reusable automation that improves the speed and accuracy of QE analysis.What will you do?

- Lead the design and implementation of an AI-powered process map comparison solution for EPM/TM1 applications.
- Automate the process of ingesting and analysing two or more business process maps/workflows from different sources or versions.
- Use Generative AI/LLMs to understand process steps, business activities, dependencies, decision points and workflow relationships.
- Develop intelligent comparison capabilities to identify:
- Missing or additional process steps
- Changes in workflow sequence
- Differences in business rules or decision points
- Missing approvals or controls
- Differences in inputs/outputs
- Process dependencies and handoffs
- Potential gaps between the expected and implemented workflow




- Inconsistencies between process documentation and application behavior
- Design AI-assisted mechanisms to distinguish between meaningful business differences and simple wording/formatting differences.
- Generate structured gap-analysis and comparison reports highlighting the differences, their potential impact and areas requiring further validation.
- Build reusable automation frameworks to support process map ingestion, comparison, validation and reporting.
- Integrate process-map comparison with existing QE practices to improve test coverage and risk-based testing.
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Development and QE teams to understand business processes and validate AI-generated findings.
- Establish mechanisms for human-in-the-loop validation, allowing business/QE users to review, accept, reject or refine AI-identified gaps.
- Continuously improve AI prompts, comparison logic, evaluation criteria and accuracy based on user feedback and historical results.
- Develop quality metrics to measure comparison accuracy, gap detection, false positives/negatives and automation effectiveness.
- Lead and mentor QE engineers in adopting AI-assisted quality engineering and automation practices.

What do you need to succeed?Must-have

- 8–10+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Testing, Test Automation or Software Engineering.
- Strong experience in test automation and quality engineering for enterprise applications.




- Strong understanding of business process/workflow analysis and end-to-end application flows.
- Experience building automation solutions using Python or similar programming languages.
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI / LLMs and applying AI to enterprise automation or testing use cases.
- Experience working with process maps, workflow diagrams, business process documentation or application workflows.
- Ability to translate process/workflow requirements into structured test scenarios and validation rules.
- Experience with AI-assisted test case generation, test analysis, document comparison or intelligent automation.
- Strong understanding of functional, integration, regression and data validation testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify gaps between expected and actual business processes.
- Solid communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with distributed teams and business stakeholders.

Nice-to-have

- Experience with TM1 / IBM Planning Analytics / EPM applications.
- Experience in banking, financial services or risk domains.
- Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex or similar GenAI frameworks.
- Experience with RAG, embeddings, semantic similarity or vector databases.
- Experience processing workflow diagrams using OCR, document intelligence, computer vision or multimodal LLMs.
- Experience generating automated gap-analysis reports using AI.
- Working knowledge of SQL and backend/data validation.
- Experience with AI evaluation frameworks and techniques for measuring LLM accuracy and reliability.
