Montreal

We are looking for a hands-on Quality Inspector to support our manufacturing operation in Montreal.

This is not a desk quality position. You will spend much of your day on the production floor inspecting incoming materials, checking products while they are being manufactured, identifying defects, documenting problems, and working directly with production leadership to make sure quality issues are corrected.

What You'll Do

· Inspect incoming raw materials and components.

· Perform quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process.

· Inspect finished products for customer and company requirements.

· Check product dimensions, weight, appearance, color, stitching, labels, barcodes, packaging, and other specifications.

· Use tape measures, scales, barcode scanners, approved samples, and product specifications.

· Perform random product sampling and follow established inspection plans.

· Identify defective or questionable material and keep it separated from acceptable product.

· Document quality problems and take photos when necessary.

· Communicate defects immediately to production supervisors and plant management.

· Verify that rejected products are repaired, reworked, or properly dispositioned.

· Maintain accurate daily inspection and quality records.

· Help identify recurring quality problems before they become customer problems.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is:

· Detail-oriented and observant.

· Comfortable working on a manufacturing floor.

· Able to make objective quality decisions.

· Comfortable telling a supervisor when something does not meet requirements.

· Organized and able to maintain accurate records.

· Able to read product specifications and use basic measuring equipment.

· Comfortable using basic computer systems.

· Dependable and able to work independently.

Previous manufacturing quality experience is preferred. Experience with textiles, bedding, sewing, packaging, receiving inspection, or finished-product inspection is a plus.

What Matters Most

You don't need to know everything about our products on your first day. We can teach product specifications and our inspection process.

What we need is someone who notices when something isn't right, speaks up, documents it clearly, and follows through until the issue is resolved.

If you take pride in preventing problems instead of simply finding them after the fact, we'd like to talk with you.

Pay: $25.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Perks

- Casual dress
- On-site parking
- Paid time off

Work Location: In person
