We are a Saskatchewan wide environmental services provider and employer. Our main office is in Meadow Lake Saskatchewan. We also have a local office and automotive fluid collection and services office in Saskatoon.
Position & Scope The Recovery Technician will be responsible for operating our class 3A units for used oil. The Recovery Technician will require a high level of professionalism and customer service to consistently build positive customer relationships and to promote Protex Environmental's service throughout Saskatchewan.
Key Accountabilities
- Follow schedules and service orders in accordance with the Service Coordinators instructions
- Provide exceptional on-site service to customers and continuously promote Protex's service offerings
- Complete service paperwork in accordance with Protex and TDG regulations
- Safely operate all required transport equipment & ensure regular cleaning and maintenance of truck cab, components,
and other assigned equipment
- Able to complete manual labour and lift 50lbs
- Participate in the Protex safety programs including: safety meetings, last minute risk assessments, and job hazard assessments.
Requirements
- Clean drivers abstract (Class 3A or 1A) is required.
- Able to work independently
- Comfortable with manual labour
- Customer service experience
- TDG knowledge and experience
- Self-motivated attitude
- Experience working in a safety sensitive workplace
- Ability to work out of town and overnight trips will be required for this position
- Experience with making drop-offs and pick-ups would be considered an asset
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
