MORE THAN GENERAL HYGIENE Harbour Dental provides a varied clinical environment, including:

- General dentistry and a strong hygiene/recall program
- Orthodontic treatment
- Pediatric dentistry
- Collaboration between hygiene and restorative teams for treatment planning
- Orthodontic experience is an asset, but training is provided
- iTero and Airflow experience are considered assets

FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING Full-Time

- Approximately 32–40 hours per week
- Primarily weekday daytime hours

Part-Time

- Scheduling tailored around your availability and preferences

Additional Opportunities

- Optional evening shifts with additional bonus structure

YOUR ROLE As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for:

- Providing comprehensive dental hygiene services, including scaling and polishing
- Completing periodontal assessments and accurately documenting findings
- Taking dental radiographs when required
- Educating patients about oral hygiene and preventive care
- Supporting dentists during examinations, orthodontic treatment, and other procedures
- Maintaining accurate patient records using Open Dental
- Delivering exceptional patient care and customer service
- Working collaboratively with dentists, assistants, and administrative staff
- Following the highest standards of infection prevention, patient safety, and clinical practice in accordance with IPAC, CDHO,



and RCDSO guidelines

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

- Registered Dental Hygienist licensed and in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO)
- Current professional liability insurance
- Current CPR certification
- Experience with Open Dental or a similar dental practice management system
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continued professional development

Assets

- 2+ years of clinical hygiene experience preferred
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- Experience or knowledge in orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry
- Experience with periodontal therapy and recall program management
- Local self-initiation authorization considered an asset
- iTero and Airflow experience considered an asset
