Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)

Bloom Health is looking for a Registered Massage Therapist to join our established multidisciplinary wellness clinic in Peterborough.

About Bloom
Bloom Health is a busy, welcoming wellness clinic offering Registered Massage Therapy, manual lymphatic drainage, osteopathy, acupuncture, Thai massage, fascial stretch and other complementary services.
We have built a strong local reputation, an established client base, active social media presence and a calm, professional clinic environment. Our practitioners work independently while benefiting from being part of a well-established clinic and recognizable local brand.
Bloom operates without a traditional receptionist, giving practitioners greater independence, more control over their schedules and the opportunity to retain more of their earnings. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing their own appointments, client communication and day-to-day client experience.
The Position
Location: Bloom Health, Peterborough, Ontario
Work arrangement: Fully on-site
Job type: Permanent, part-time, independent contractor
Hours: Approximately 10-25 hours/week
Treatment room availability is generally organized into clinic shifts:
Day shift: approximately 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Evening shift: approximately 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Weekend availability is available.
We are happy to discuss available shifts with the right candidate.
Compensation
This is an independent contractor position based on a percentage split.
Compensation: 70% to the RMT / 30% to Bloom Health, with Bloom's share capped at $850 biweekly.
Expected earnings will depend on the number of shifts worked, treatment rates and individual caseload.

Qualifications
Applicants must
-Be registered and in positive standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO), or be eligible for registration as a new graduate.
-Have completed an accredited Massage Therapy diploma program
-Maintain their own professional liability insurance and all other requirements necessary to practise as an RMT in Ontario
-Be dependable, professional and comfortable practising independently
-Provide excellent client care and communication
-Be comfortable managing their own schedule, charting and professional responsibilities
-Experience level: Entry-level or experienced RMTs are welcome to apply. Current graduates are encouraged to apply.
