We are urgently seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Massage Therapist to join our Chiropractic Clinic team. Our clinic is looking to grow and our 3 Chiropractors are looking to add a Qualified Massage Therapist to add to our team. They would be the sole recipient of all 3 Chiropractors massage referrals.
In this role, you will work directly with the Chiropractors, provide therapeutic massage therapy designed to alleviate pain, improve function, and improve overall well-being for our diverse clientele as well as some relaxation massages. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health goals through personalized treatment plans and exceptional customer care. Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality massage therapy sessions tailored to each client’s specific needs, utilizing various techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or therapeutic massage.
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ health history and current conditions to develop effective treatment plans.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients before, during, and after sessions to ensure comfort and understanding of procedures.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation and hygiene practices.
- Educate clients on self-care techniques and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments or referrals when necessary.
- Keep accurate records of client treatments, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with licensing requirements.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or wellness team members to support comprehensive client care.
Experience:
- Proven experience (is a huge plus but not required) as a licensed Registered Massage Therapist with a strong understanding of medical terminology related to health conditions and treatments.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming and relaxing workplace for clients.
- Strong communication skills to effectively explain treatment options and listen attentively to client concerns.
- Knowledge of various massage techniques and the ability to adapt treatments based on individual needs.
- Certification from an accredited massage therapy program and valid licensing as required by local regulations.
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced or multidisciplinary wellness setting is preferred but not mandatory.
