We are currently looking for an experienced Registered Physiotherapist with a strong background in sports performance and performance training to join our team in Markham.

Position Summary: This role is ideal for a physiotherapist who enjoys working with athletes and active individuals and understands that rehabilitation does not end when pain disappears.

The successful candidate will work closely with our performance coaches and other practitioners to assess and treat clients, develop evidence-informed rehabilitation programs, and help bridge the gap between injury rehabilitation, return to sport, and performance training.

We are specifically seeking a clinician who already has hands-on experience in a sports performance or performance training environment and is comfortable working within an active,

gym-based setting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments for musculoskeletal and sports-related injuries
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-informed treatment and rehabilitation plans
- Guide clients through different stages of rehabilitation, from injury management to return to training and sport
- Design and supervise exercise-based rehabilitation programs using strength, mobility, stability, and movement-based interventions
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans based on clinical findings, functional goals, and performance demands
- Collaborate closely with Strength & Conditioning Coaches, Performance Coaches, and other practitioners to provide coordinated client care
- Integrate rehabilitation plans with clients' existing performance training programs where appropriate
- Educate clients on injury management, movement strategies, recovery, and injury-risk reduction
- Communicate clearly and professionally with athletes, parents, coaches, and other members of the care team
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with professional and regulatory requirements
- Maintain appropriate confidentiality, professional boundaries, and standards of practice

- Stay current with research and best practices in physiotherapy, sports rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, and athlete development

Qualifications:

- Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution
- Registered and in positive standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
- Appropriate professional liability insurance
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with athletes in a sports performance, performance training, high-performance, or comparable athletic environment
- Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal and sports injury assessment, exercise prescription, active rehabilitation, and return-to-sport principles
- Comfortable working in a performance gym environment and collaborating with Strength & Conditioning Coaches, Performance Coaches, and other practitioners
- Experience with competitive or high-performance athletes, strength and conditioning, or return-to-performance programming is considered an asset
- Excellent clinical reasoning, interpersonal, communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Fluent professional English is required; other languages are considered an asset
- Additional education or certifications in sports physiotherapy, manual therapy, concussion management, dry needling/acupuncture, or related areas are considered an asset
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred

Benefits (post-probation):

- Company events
- On-site gym access
- On-site parking
- Professional development support
