Little Footsteps Child Care Centre is a licensed child care facility located in Chilliwack, BC. We offer Preschool, Daycare, Infant/Toddler, and School Age Care programs.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring Responsible Adult to join our team and help support and enhance our School Age Care program.

Position Details

- Position: Part-Time Responsible Adult
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, approximately 4 hours per day, between 1:30 PM and 6:00 PM
- Start Date: Immediate
- Compensation: Competitive wages and benefits package
- Additional Requirements: This position may occasionally require substituting in other programs within our facility.

Qualifications & Requirements

- A genuine enthusiasm for working with children and supporting their learning and development.
- The ability to work collaboratively and successfully as part of a team.
- A willingness to learn, try new things, and contribute positively to the program.
- A valid Responsible Adult certificate.
- A clear criminal record check.
- Two professional references.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide quality care by guiding, encouraging,



and supervising children in both indoor and outdoor environments.
- Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of all children at all times.
- Support a positive, engaging, and inclusive setting where children feel valued and encouraged.
- Assist with housekeeping duties to ensure classrooms, facilities, and equipment remain clean, organized, safe, and properly sanitized.
- Follow and help maintain the health and safety standards and requirements outlined in the Community Care and Assisted Living Act and applicable child care licensing regulations.
- Work collaboratively with the team to support the daily operations of the School Age Care program.
