Restaurant Manager – The Kouzzina

Location: Sudbury, Ontario

Type: Full-Time The Kouzzina, a well-established independent restaurant in Sudbury, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team. Known for our Italian & Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, warm hospitality, and commitment to excellence, we are looking for a leader who can uphold our reputation while driving service, efficiency, and team morale.

Responsibilities

- Oversee daily front-of-house operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
- Lead, train, and motivate staff to maintain high standards of service, professionalism, and teamwork.
- Manage scheduling, shift coverage, and staffing levels to support smooth operations.
- Monitor performance, address challenges, and provide ongoing coaching to team members.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve issues in a professional, solutions-driven manner.
- Work with ownership on operational goals, cost control, and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and cleanliness standards.
- Support hiring, onboarding,



and developing new team members.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management (minimum 2–3 years preferred).
- Solid leadership and communication skills with the ability to foster a positive work environment.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, scheduling, and cost control.
- Passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding customer service.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and lead by example.
