Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise store staff to ensure high levels of customer service, sales performance, and operational efficiency.
- Oversee merchandising strategies to optimize product placement, pricing, and promotional displays to maximize sales.
- Manage inventory purchasing, stock replenishment, and store layout adjustments to meet customer demand and company standards.
- Handle payroll processing, cash handling, and bookkeeping tasks accurately while maintaining compliance with company policies.
- Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to build a skilled and motivated workforce.
- Implement sales management techniques including negotiation with vendors and customers to secure favorable terms.
- Maintain effective communication with staff through regular meetings and updates to ensure organizational goals are understood and achieved.
- Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems proficiently for transactions, returns, and reporting purposes.
- Monitor store budgets, pricing strategies, and sales targets to ensure profitability and growth.
- Enforce store policies on phone etiquette, customer interactions, safety procedures,



and cleanliness standards.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching to foster professional development within the team.

Experience

- Proven supervising or managerial experience in a retail environment with a strong track record of team leadership.
- Extensive knowledge of retail sales techniques, merchandising principles, and inventory management.
- Demonstrated ability in recruiting, training, and developing staff members effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills in both bilingual or multilingual settings preferred; fluency in additional languages is a plus.
- Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling procedures, bookkeeping software, and basic math skills for financial accuracy.
- Experience in budgeting, pricing strategies, marketing initiatives, and sales management is highly desirable.
- Ability to handle administrative tasks such as payroll processing, record keeping, and report generation efficiently.
- Knowledge of phone etiquette standards and customer service excellence practices essential for creating positive shopping experiences.
