Sales Associate, Muse & Merchant Coquitlam.

We’re looking for a passionate and driven sales associate to join our Coquitlam showroom. This isn’t just another retail role. It’s an opportunity to be part of one of British Columbia’s most distinctive furniture showrooms, built around great design, beautiful materials, and a genuine love of interiors.

Established in 2012, Muse & Merchant is growing rapidly and supported by our sister company, ScanDesigns, with 50 years of experience in the furniture industry. Together, we bring decades of knowledge, strong industry relationships, and a distinctly different approach to furniture retail.

As a sales associate, you’ll be at the heart of the customer experience. You’ll help clients discover furniture and home furnishings that reflect their personal style and the way they live, while building genuine relationships and creating an experience that feels inspiring, knowledgeable, and effortless. You’ll work alongside an experienced team in a beautifully curated showroom, bringing your energy, creativity, and passion for interiors to every customer interaction.

What you will do:

Create a welcoming, knowledgeable experience for every customer

Build genuine relationships, guide customers through our furniture and home furnishings collection

Achieve and exceed individual and showroom sales targets

Develop robust product knowledge

Assist with showroom merchandising

Stay current with products and promotions

What you bring:

Previous retail or sales experience (furniture or luxury retail is a plus)

Strong communication and listening skills

Ability to work toward sales targets with confidence

Our stores are open daily, including weekends, so flexibility to work a variety of shifts and be present during peak customer times is required. Income opportunities:

To start, for the probation period, a salary of $3500

After probation period: A generous commission program or $3200 salary whichever is greater.

Earning potentials: $38,400 -$95,000 per year.

Our team’s average earning is $60,000 a year.
