Salesforce Data & AI Engineer –

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Data & AI Engineer to support ongoing Employee Success initiatives within the Salesforce environment. The engineer will work closely with Salesforce engineering and business stakeholders to design, develop, test, and maintain data-driven and AI-powered solutions.

The role requires someone who can work independently, understand business requirements, troubleshoot complex issues, and deliver end-to-end technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain solutions using Salesforce Apex, Flow, and Agentforce.
- Develop and enhance AI agent workflows, actions, and integrations.
- Work with Salesforce Data Cloud for data modeling, querying, and integration.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce, Slack, APIs, and external services.
- Work with Snowflake and SQL for data querying, validation, transformation, and analysis.
- Troubleshoot application, integration, data, and AI-agent issues across environments.
- Develop unit tests and maintain appropriate Apex test coverage.
- Support code reviews, deployment, QA/UAT validation, and production releases.
- Collaborate directly with Salesforce engineering, product, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Document technical implementations and provide knowledge transfer when required.
- Work independently and take ownership of assigned features and technical issues.

Required Skills





- Strong experience with Python - to be able to develop MCPs
- Experience Data Serialization & Validation packages in Python
- Exeperience with Networking & Transport Layers in Python
- Salesforce Apex and Salesforce Flow good to have
- Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud
- Experience with Agentforce / Salesforce AI solutions
- Robust SQL skills
- Experience working with Snowflake
- REST API and system integration experience
- Experience with Git-based development and deployment processes
- Solid debugging and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with client engineering and business stakeholders

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Slack integrations / Slack APIs
- Python development experience
- Experience building AI/LLM-powered applications or integrations
- Experience with MCP or similar AI integration frameworks
- Understanding of data engineering and data modeling concepts
- Experience working in Agile software development environments

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer who is comfortable working across Salesforce development, data engineering, AI/Agentforce solutions, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations. The individual should have experience building or supporting MCP-based services and integrating AI agents with enterprise data and systems.

The candidate should be able to independently own technical requirements from initial analysis through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support while collaborating directly with engineering and business stakeholders.
