SAP Time Management Consultant

Location: Remote in Canada

Duration: 5 Months Contract with possible extension

Employment Type: Contract

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Time Management Consultant with solid expertise in SAP HCM Time Management and SAP Payroll. The consultant will be responsible for configuring, supporting, and enhancing SAP time management processes, including work schedules, attendance, absences, overtime, time evaluation, and integration with SAP Payroll.

The ideal candidate will have strong functional knowledge of SAP HCM Time Management and experience working closely with HR and Payroll business teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure and support SAP HCM Time Management processes.

- Configure work schedules, shifts, time types, time quotas, attendance, and absence management.

- Support Time Evaluation and troubleshoot time-related processing issues.

- Configure and maintain overtime, premium, holiday, and working-time rules.

- Support integration between SAP Time Management and SAP Payroll.

- Analyze and resolve issues related to employee time data and payroll integration.

- Work with HR and Payroll teams to understand business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.

- Perform functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, and support user acceptance testing.

- Prepare functional specifications and configuration documentation.

- Support data validation, migration,



and reconciliation activities related to time management.

- Provide production support and troubleshoot defects and configuration issues.

- Collaborate with technical teams on enhancements, interfaces, reports, and integrations.

- Participate in workshops, requirements gathering, and solution design discussions.

- Provide knowledge transfer and documentation to business and support teams.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with SAP HCM Time Management.

- Strong understanding of SAP Time Evaluation.

- Experience with Work Schedules, Time Types, Time Quotas, Attendance and Absence Management.

- Good understanding of SAP Payroll and Time Management integration.

- Experience with overtime, holiday calendars, shifts, and working-time rules.

- Strong understanding of SAP HCM Personnel Administration processes.

- Experience in requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and production support.

- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central / Time Tracking.

- SAP S/4HANA HCM experience.

- Experience with SAP Payroll schemas and PCRs.

- Experience with SAP integrations/interfaces.

- Experience working in large enterprise or complex HR environments.

- Knowledge of Canadian payroll/time-management requirements is an asset.

Education & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, HR, Business, or a related field preferred.

- 7+ years of SAP HCM experience, with significant hands-on experience in SAP Time Management.

- Strong experience working with HR, Payroll, and business stakeholders.
