Job Title: SAS Viya Information Technology Analyst Location: Downtown Montreal

Contract Duration: 6 months, with possibility of extension

Hours per Week: 37.5 hours

- On-site presence 2 days per week is mandatory.
- French proficiency is mandatory; English is an asset.

Required Qualifications The candidate must possess the following qualifications to be considered for Cofomo's internal selection process:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical role related to data technologies, analytics applications, or SAS platforms.
- Strong knowledge of SAS, including SAS Base, SQL, Enterprise Guide, or SAS Viya.
- Basic knowledge of cloud environments and source code management tools such as AWS, Git, PRs, etc.
- Knowledge of Python or automation tools is an asset.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
- French is mandatory; English is an asset.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications

- Experience with SAS Viya.
- Experience in application support, operations, or administration of analytics platforms.
- Experience collaborating with geographically distributed teams.
- Knowledge of GitHub Copilot, Python, or automation tools.

Ideal Candidate Profile

- Application Technician, Technical Analyst, or Operations Specialist with a strong interest in analytics platforms.




- Positive understanding of SAS environments and the challenges associated with migration to SAS Viya.
- Ability to efficiently perform recurring operational activities while contributing to continuous process improvement.
- Self-motivated, service-oriented, and comfortable working in a large-scale delivery environment.

Context As part of a program to migrate from SAS 9.3 to SAS Viya , the client is looking for an Application Analyst SAS Viya Operations to support platform migration, automation, and operational activities. The resource will perform the required operational activities on the SAS Viya platform, contribute to the migration by executing existing accelerators, and participate in the continuous improvement of migration processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform required operational activities on the SAS Viya platform to support migration teams and business units, including:

- Access management

- Scheduling

- Database connections

- Data transfers

- Other platform configurations
- Execute configuration accelerators used as part of SAS Viya migrations.
- Analyze the results generated by the accelerators and perform the required adjustments and follow-ups.
- Participate in configuration activities related to migrations.
- Implement improvements and quick wins to reduce manual tasks and increase operational efficiency.
- Document procedures, configurations, and completed activities.
- Collaborate with development, platform, and business teams to ensure the successful execution of migrations.
