Northern Research Group is seeking a Data Governance Specialist to lead the design and implementation of the Data Governance Program for the Métis Nation–Saskatchewan. You will work closely with stakeholders to improve data accessibility, classification, and quality, while managing governance policies that promote data sovereignty and security.

Key Responsibilities:



• Develop and maintain MN-S enterprise data inventory • Document data assets and ownership across departments • Support privacy impact assessments and governance reviews • Conduct training sessions on data governance best practices • Collaborate with external partners on data governance initiatives

Requirements: • Degree in Data Analytics, Public Administration, or similar • 3-5 years of relevant experience in governance or compliance • Understanding of data management principles • Solid communication and facilitation skills • Ability to manage multiple projects independently
