Responsibilities

- Follows all food safety procedures to ensure guest and associates health & safety ensuring sanitation and hygiene standards for proper food storage and handling are met/exceeded
- Finds creative solutions to guest requests
- Ensures a safe working environment through proper use of equipment, being proactive in accident prevention and diligent in eliminating safety hazards
- Assists the culinary team with various food preparation tasks
- Informs Chef immediately of any equipment that is broken or requires maintenance
- Performs other tasks assigned by management

Requirements

- Must be available throughout the week during weekdays, weekends and public holidays from 2:30-11pm. Flexibility to work other shifts may be required depending on business.
- Can manage high volume, fast paced conditions




- 3+ years experience working in similar size restaurants and/or hotels
- Understands that success lies in working together and enjoys working in a team
- Successful completion of a diploma in culinary arts or similar education
- Certified Food Safe and WHMIS required
- Red seal an asset
