Paladin Security Group (NB) Ltd. is looking for Full-Time Security Operatives. Position Details:

Position: Security Operative

Site: DP World – Canpotex (PotAsh)

Overtime: Overtime (excess of 44 hours)

Hours: Full time

Payrate: $20.40/hour

Key responsibilities:

- Patrol Grounds: Conduct regular rounds of premises, including parking areas, entrances, and exits, to ensure the safety and security of the site.
- Monitor Surveillance Systems: Operate security cameras and alarm systems, ensuring any suspicious activity is reported immediately to the appropriate authorities.
- Access Control: Monitor and control entry points, ensuring that only authorized individuals are allowed access to restricted areas.
- Respond to Emergencies: Act quickly in emergency situations, such as medical emergencies, fire alarms, or security threats. Assist staff as needed during crises and evacuations.
- Provide Customer Service: Greet and assist visitors, and staff. Provide directions and ensure that guests adhere to policies and procedures.
- Conflict Resolution: De-escalate tense situations, resolve conflicts,



and ensure that all interactions are handled calmly and professionally.
- Report Writing: Document daily activities, incidents, or accidents accurately. Complete reports on incidents, breaches, and security concerns.
- Collaboration with Staff: Work closely with staff and local law enforcement to provide a coordinated security effort and ensure the safety of all parties involved.

Prerequisites:

- Ability to wear and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE), including a hard hat, in accordance with established workplace safety standards
- English assessment (oral and written)
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.
- Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and / or Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB). Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position
- Please be aware: The UoF/MOAB training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite; however, Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position/availability
