Senior Accountant, Client Funds & Trust Administration

- Position Title: Senior Accountant, Client Funds & Trust Administration

ConnectWell Community Health is seeking a Senior Accountant, Client Funds & Trust Administration, 35 hrs/week (1.0 FTE). This position provides comprehensive benefit coverage, including HOOPP.

Position Summary: The Senior Accountant, Client Funds & Trust Administration manages client funds and trust accounts for approximately 700 individuals and families, ensuring accurate administration, compliance, accountability, and robust financial controls.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

CPA designation (or working towards)

Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting and financial management experience

Experience managing client funds, trust & fund accounting, government-funded programs, or similar environments

Experience developing and implementing financial processes, internal controls, and financial reporting systems

Proficient with Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools

Experience in the non-profit, health, social services, community services,



or government-funded sectors

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is an asset

Reporting Relationship: The successful candidate will report to the Senior Manager, Finance and Accounting.
