Our Client A well-established North American retail/manufacturing organization is seeking a

Senior Accounting Analyst to join its corporate accounting team. This is a hands-on role offering broad ownership across the accounting cycle, financial reporting and analysis within a collaborative setting.

The Role

- Own key aspects of the month-end close

, including journal entries, accruals and reconciliations

- Maintain and analyze balance sheet accounts

, investigating and resolving discrepancies

- Manage accounting schedules including fixed assets, prepaids, payroll and inventory

- Prepare financial reporting and provide variance analysis and commentary on results

- Partner with

FP&A; and other finance stakeholders to explain financial performance

- Support cash flow forecasting, audit requirements, tax remittances and consolidation/reporting

- Identify accounting issues and contribute to process improvements and stronger financial controls





- Take broad ownership of assigned business/account areas from close through reporting and analysis

Ideal Candidate

- Strong hands-on experience with month-end close and general accounting

- Experience with journal entries, reconciliations and financial analysis

- Strong critical-thinking skills with the ability to investigate results and identify when something does not make sense

- Bilingual French/English required

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

- CPA designation is an asset, but not required

- Retail, inventory, manufacturing and/or consolidation experience considered an asset

- Open to either an existing Senior Analyst or a strong intermediate-level candidate ready to step into a broader senior role
