Description:

- Install, configure, and administer IBM DB2 and MySQL database environments
- Monitor database performance and proactively identify optimization opportunities
- Perform database tuning, query optimization, and index management
- Manage database backups, recovery strategies, and disaster recovery planning
- Ensure high availability and reliability of databases through replication, clustering, or failover mechanisms
- Implement and maintain database security, access controls, and compliance standards
- Support application development teams with database design, schema changes, and performance improvements
- Troubleshoot database issues, incidents, and outages in a timely manner
- Plan and execute database upgrades, patches, and migrations
- Maintain documentation for database architecture, configurations, and procedures
- Robust background in MySQL
- Strong background in DB2

Nice to have:
- Some cloud experience
