Vancouver

At Fresh Tracks Canada, we craft tailor-made Canadian vacations for people from all over the world. Since 1996, our team of Canadian Insiders have helped our customers plan their vacations and enjoy life-changing travel experiences.

About The Role The Senior Lifecycle Marketing Specialist is the hands-on builder behind our email and lifecycle programs. This is a senior individual contributor role focused on execution: building and deploying campaigns in Marketo, keeping the platform healthy, launching webinar and Dynamic Chat programs, and putting personalization and AI tooling to work day-to-day.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in the craft of the build: clean campaign logic, accurate audiences, zero-defect QA. Strategy and roadmap direction come from the Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager. Your job is to build it well, flag what is not working, and ship on time. You do not need prior webinar or conversational chat experience. If you have the Marketo depth, we will get you up to speed on the rest.

This role reports to the Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager and works in close partnership with Marketing, Sales, and Analytics &

- Insights.

Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000 CAD annually.

Responsibilities

Email Production and Campaign Builds

- Build, QA, schedule, and deploy email programs and smart campaigns in Marketo across promotional, nurture, trigger, and transactional sends.
- Build emails from existing templates, including dynamic content using tokens, snippets, and segmentation-driven content blocks.
- Run QA on every send: copy, links, UTMs, rendering across clients, dynamic content logic, and audience targeting.
- Pull and confirm audiences before each send: verify segment counts, apply suppressions, and validate targeting logic.

Marketo Platform Upkeep
- Handle daily Marketo operations: system notifications, sync monitoring, queue management, template libraries, list health, suppression logic, and compliance queues (CASL, GDPR, CAN-SPAM).
- Maintain lifecycle segmentations and smart lists, keeping definitions accurate as data and programs change.
- Maintain lead scoring: confirm fields are mapped correctly, firing accurately, and reflected in the right segments.
- Monitor the Marketo-Salesforce sync and the connections to BigQuery and Amplitude, diagnose errors, and coordinate fixes with DevOps.
- Keep the Marketo SOP in Confluence current: naming conventions, segmentation logic, field mappings, and change log.

Webinar and Dynamic Chat Programs
- Build end-to-end webinar programs: registration pages and forms, confirmation and reminder sequences, day-of logistics,

and post-webinar follow-up flows.
- Own the webinar platform integration so registration, attendance, and engagement data lands correctly in Marketo and Salesforce.
- Build and maintain Agile Chat dialogues and streams: conversation flows, targeting rules, meeting booking, and routing to the right team.
- Monitor webinar and chat performance, and adjust flows, timing, and targeting based on what the data shows.

AI and Personalization
- Use AI tools day-to-day to speed up copy drafting, subject line variants, QA checks, and segmentation analysis, with on-brand output as the bar, and contribute to the team's prompt library and AI usage guidelines.
- Implement personalization across programs: tokens, snippets, dynamic content, and behavioral triggers that make sends relevant to where someone is in their trip planning.
- Build and run A/B tests on subject lines, content, and send timing, and report results back clearly.

Collaboration and Reporting
- Partner with Content, Design, and Sales to get assets, approvals, and copy in hand ahead of build deadlines.
- Pull campaign reporting and surface what the numbers are showing, including recommendations on what to adjust.
- Monitor shared campaign response channels alongside Sales, handling campaign-specific inquiries and routing everything else to the right team.
- Manage a concurrent campaign queue, self-prioritize against deadlines, and raise capacity or dependency risks early.

Requirements

Required

- 3-5 years in email marketing, marketing operations, or lifecycle marketing, with most of that time spent building campaigns hands-on.
- Strong hands-on Marketo experience: you can independently build smart campaigns, programs, segmentations, dynamic content, and automation logic.
- Experience building and maintaining audience segmentation in Marketo: behavioral triggers, lifecycle stage logic, engagement scoring, and suppression rules.
- Working knowledge of the Marketo-Salesforce integration: sync behavior, field mapping, and how to troubleshoot a misalignment.
- Demonstrated experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) in a professional marketing context to improve output quality and speed.

- Proficient in basic HTML and CSS for email formatting and troubleshooting rendering issues.
- Comfortable pulling reports and reading campaign metrics well enough to explain what happened and what to try next.
- Excellent attention to detail with a track record of owning QA in high-volume email environments.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent campaigns, self-prioritize, and hit deadlines consistently.

Preferred

- Marketo Certified Expert (MCE). Candidates without certification should be prepared to demonstrate equivalent hands-on depth through work samples, technical discussion, or a practical assessment.
- Experience building webinar programs and integrating a webinar platform with a marketing automation system.
- Experience with Marketo Dynamic Chat or another conversational marketing tool.
- Comparable hands-on experience with an enterprise-grade marketing automation platform: Oracle Eloqua, Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), Adobe Campaign, Braze, or Iterable. Mid-market platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign) are not considered equivalent for this role.
- Velocity scripting for advanced Marketo personalization.
- Familiarity with Amplitude, BigQuery, or SQL for audience validation and data pulls.
- Experience in travel or other high-consideration B2C environments.
