We are looking for a Senior Manager, In-Store Digital Media/Technology provides strategic and hands-on leadership for TC Transcontinental's in-store digital media initiatives. This role supports the development, deployment, and optimization of digital signage and retail media solutions across client programs. Working closely with internal teams, technology partners, and clients, the incumbent serves as a senior technical advisor, helps streamline processes, supports live programs, and contributes to the future design and growth of the in-store digital media team.

The salary range for this position is $85,000 to $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience, education and internal equity. This range is provided to ensure clarity and promote equitable access to employment opportunities.

Responsibilities

When your actions lead to success:

- Provide leadership and technical expertise for in-store digital media and retail media initiatives.
- Support digital signage hardware deployment, vendor management, and operational execution across client environments.
- Gain a thorough understanding of existing hardware configurations, deployment practices, and vendor relationships, while identifying opportunities to improve technical processes and operational efficiency.
- Review and improve content creation, publishing, and content management system (CMS) workflows.
- Develop a solid understanding of current content workflows and CMS environments, identify campaign delivery bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
- Serve as a senior technical advisor and client-facing resource for active in-store digital media programs.
- Act as a technically fluent point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders,



providing support for live programs and helping strengthen client relationships.
- Troubleshoot operational and technical challenges to ensure successful campaign delivery and performance.
- Collaborate with business development, account management, operations, and external partners to support client objectives.
- Identify process improvements, efficiencies, and best practices to enhance scalability and service delivery.
- Evaluate current operating models, team structures, and workflows, providing recommendations that support the future growth and development of the in-store digital media function.
- Contribute to organizational design, workforce planning, and future staffing strategies for the broader in-store digital media team.
- Support the development of a high-performing team and provide leadership as the function continues to evolve.
- Lead special projects and initiatives related to digital media technology, deployment, client experience, and operational excellence.
- Provide ongoing feedback and insights to leadership regarding team design, resource allocation, process optimization, and long-term capability building.
- Work as part of a team, follow and adhere to Transcontinental’s code of ethics and participate in the Continuous Improvement efforts.
- Fully understand and adhere to all relevant Environmental, Health and Safety, Human Resources, Quality, Security and Company policies and procedures.
- Work in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act of Ontario, the Workplace Safety Insurance Act and all other applicable legislated, environmental, health & safety regulations.
- Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in digital signage, retail media, digital out-of-home (DOOH), media technology, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of digital media hardware, deployment processes, CMS platforms, and content workflows.
- Experience managing client relationships and delivering technology-driven solutions.
- Demonstrated experience leading projects,



improving processes, and supporting cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience hiring, coaching, or leading teams is considered a strong asset.
- Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written).
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities.
