Role Description The Senior Software Engineer will design, build, and maintain production-grade software systems that power AI-driven solutions for ZeroStone’s clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing and optimizing back-end services, integrating AI models into existing workflows, and ensuring scalability, reliability, and security of deployed applications.
The role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, product leads, and client stakeholders,
to translate business needs into technical designs and high-quality code.
The Senior Software
Engineer will participate in code reviews, mentor other engineers, and contribute to technical standards and best practices. This is a full-time remote role.
Qualifications
- Robust foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and systems design.
- Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Software Development for production-grade applications.
- Advanced Programming skills with experience in modern languages and frameworks used for server-side development.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and their application in large codebases.
- Experience designing and integrating APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in remote teams and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Prior experience working with AI/ML-powered products or data-intensive systems is an asset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
