Ignite Pizzeria creates handmade artisanal pizza in an 800° stone-fired oven, with a focus on quality, consistency and generosity in everything we do. We use high-quality ingredients and take pride in our handcrafted pizzas, welcoming restaurants and the care we show our guests and employees alike.

We’re looking for an energetic and dedicated Server to join our North Vancouver team. You’ll help create memorable dining experiences by ensuring every guest feels welcomed, well looked after and satisfied. This is a fast-paced role with opportunities for growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS software
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high service standards
- Answer menu questions and recommend additional items where appropriate
- Process payments and handle cash accurately
- Follow all food safety,



sanitation and food-handling procedures
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure orders are delivered correctly and on time
- Respond to guest questions or concerns promptly and professionally
- Help maintain a clean, organized and welcoming restaurant environment

Requirements

- Previous restaurant, food-service or hospitality experience is preferred but not required
- Serving It Right certification is required
- Excellent customer-service and communication skills
- Friendly, positive and professional attitude
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to manage multiple tables
- Ability to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is an asset
- Knowledge of food-safety and sanitation practices
- Confidence handling payments and completing basic calculations
- Enthusiasm for learning and a genuine passion for hospitality
