We are currently looking to hire a Service Writer to join our team of professionals in ensuring we continue to provide reliable service within our Shop.

Requirements

- Top notch service skills to a culturally diverse customer base.
- Minimum 1 year experience as a service writer in the heavy truck/commercial vehicle industry.
- Dispute resolution skills and the ability to handle difficult situations.
- Axon knowledge an asset
- Safe and professional work practices are mandatory
- Physically fit and able to lift 50lbs.
- Ability to work for long periods of time on your feet.

Responsibilities:

- Act as a liaison to customers in providing client-focused service in person, on the phone or over text/email.
- Greet and assist all customers that enter the service area.
- Gather customer and vehicle information for service check-ins.
- Working with the service manager, provide estimates of the work to be performed and collecting authorization.
- Review account status and collect payments as required.
- Continuous consult with service manager and shop foreman on the status of the work to be performed and providing timely updates to the customer..
- Ensuring all work orders are closed in a expeditious manner.
- Obtain payments from customers for completed work.




- Maintain cleanliness of service counter and workspace.
- Perform other duties as required.

- Ability to work in a quick-paced environment
- Proficient in using computer software for scheduling and record keeping
