Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Welder to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise in various welding techniques and mechanical knowledge will contribute to the successful production of high-quality products.

Duties

- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding to join metal parts according to detailed blueprints and schematics
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly
- Use plasma cutting tools, press brake machines, hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to shape and prepare materials for welding
- Conduct rigging operations to position heavy components safely before welding or assembly
- Measure components with calipers and other precision tools to ensure proper fit and alignment
- Assist with ductwork fabrication, assembly, and installation in construction or manufacturing environments




- Operate forklifts and cranes as needed for material handling and positioning during fabrication processes
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety guidelines

Skills

- Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques with demonstrated experience in manufacturing or construction settings
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to assembly, machining, rigging, and blueprint reading
- Ability to operate plasma cutters, press brake machines, hand tools, power tools, and schematics effectively
- Knowledge of ductwork fabrication, schematics interpretation, and assembly procedures
- Experience with crane operation, forklift handling, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Familiarity with welding safety standards and practices in industrial environments
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly and adapt to changing project requirements
