We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Migration/Delivery Technical Lead to lead end-to-end SharePoint migration and modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, migration architecture, PowerShell automation, governance, and enterprise delivery. The Technical Lead will own migration strategy, solution design, execution, cutover, stabilization, and technical delivery while ensuring secure, compliant, and low-disruption migration to SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the technical migration strategy, architecture, delivery plan, and migration-wave schedule.
- Lead migrations involving on-premises SharePoint, cloud environments, tenant-to-tenant migrations, file shares, and legacy platforms.
- Assess source sites, content, metadata, permissions, workflows, customizations, integrations, and compliance requirements.
- Define target SharePoint Online information architecture, taxonomy, security model, retention controls, and governance standards.
- Lead pilots, migration execution, validation, cutover, rollback planning, hypercare, and technical sign-off.
- Configure migration tools, mappings, scripts, reports, exception handling, and reusable migration runbooks.
- Modernize legacy workflows, forms, web parts, and integrations using SharePoint Online and Power Platform.
- Establish reconciliation controls for content, metadata, version history, permissions, links, search, and workflows.
- Coordinate with business owners, architects, security, infrastructure, application teams, and vendors.
- Track delivery, quality, dependencies, risks, and issues while providing regular status reporting.
- Lead and mentor engineering teams and serve as the escalation point for complex migration issues.

Required Technical Skills & Experience





- 10+ years of SharePoint or Microsoft 365 experience, including 3+ years leading enterprise migration or modernization programs.
- Strong expertise in SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint Server 2013/2016/2019.
- Experience with large-scale on-premises-to-cloud, tenant-to-tenant, file-share, and legacy-platform migrations.
- Hands-on experience with ShareGate, Microsoft SharePoint Migration Tool, Migration Manager, Quest, AvePoint, or comparable migration tools.
- Strong PowerShell and PnP PowerShell experience for discovery, automation, reporting, administration, and remediation.
- Knowledge of SharePoint Framework, CSOM, REST APIs, Microsoft Graph, JavaScript/TypeScript, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
- Strong understanding of SharePoint sites, hubs, lists, libraries, metadata, content types, managed metadata, navigation, search, permissions, and external sharing.
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Purview capabilities including retention, records management, sensitivity labels, DLP, eDiscovery, and audit.
- Experience with migration assessment, data mapping, testing, reconciliation, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps or GitHub, CI/CD, Agile delivery, and IT service-management practices.
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.

- Ability to translate business, security, and compliance requirements into practical migration solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder communication, workshop facilitation, expectation management, and executive reporting skills.

- Ability to coordinate distributed teams and manage parallel migration waves in deadline-driven environments.
- Demonstrated ownership of at least one complete migration lifecycle from assessment through cutover and stabilization.
