Due to strong growth and excellent results, Cloverdale Paint Inc. has an opportunity for a full-time Shipper/Receiver to join our team in Montreal, QC.
The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for the safe, accurate and timely movement of industrial and heavy-duty products through the branch. This position coordinates incoming and outgoing shipments, maintains accurate inventory and shipping records, and supports customers, carriers and branch operations in both French and English.
We are located at 7519 Boulevard Henri Bourassa East, Montreal, QC.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, transfers and deliveries to meet customer and branch requirements
- Schedule and communicate with carriers, couriers, suppliers and customers in both French and English, as required
- Safely load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks and other approved material-handling equipment
- Receive, scan and verify incoming products, distributions and transfers against purchase orders, packing slips and shipping documents
- Inspect shipments for damage, shortages or discrepancies and report or resolve issues promptly
- Pick, stage, package and label industrial coatings,
equipment and related products accurately for shipment or customer pickup
- Store and rotate products safely and transfer stock to designated branch or warehouse locations
- Complete bills of lading, courier documents, customs paperwork and dangerous goods documentation accurately
- Follow WHMIS, TDG, spill-response and hazardous-material handling requirements at all times
- Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle counts, stock adjustments and product replenishment
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized shipping, receiving and warehouse area, and perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
- Fluent in French and English, both written and verbal, is required to communicate effectively with customers, carriers, suppliers and colleagues
- Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse or industrial branch experience is preferred
- Knowledge of industrial and heavy-duty coatings, solvents, spray equipment, pumps and related accessories is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to complete shipping, receiving and inventory documentation accurately
- Dependable and safety-focused, with the ability to organize priorities and work with minimal supervision
- Ability to lift and maneuver paint containers and related products weighing up to 70 lb., with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach and perform repetitive material-handling tasks for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification, or the ability to obtain certification within the required training period
- Basic computer skills and experience using inventory,
shipping or warehouse management systems
- Availability for shift work, overtime and flexible schedule, including evenings or weekends, as operationally required
Physical Demands of Position The essential function of this position involves physical duties, including the regular lifting, carrying, and moving of paint containers and related products weighing up to 70 pounds individually or with appropriate lifting equipment when required. The successful candidate must be able to safely perform the essential duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, in accordance with applicable human rights legislation.
