Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Developer with strong Siebel development expertise to support the design, development, integration, and maintenance of enterprise applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating technical specifications into working, tested applications while collaborating throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities

- Translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications.
- Develop detailed programming specifications.
- Write and generate code for data-driven applications.
- Maintain applications and conduct unit testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues arising during software operation.
- Provide technical assistance during implementations, conversions, and migrations.
- Collaborate with IT professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Design, code, test, debug, and document applications.
- Participate in application design, deployment, and troubleshooting activities.
- Conduct design walkthrough sessions with project teams.
- Provide post-implementation support and resolve technical issues.
- Prepare user and system documentation as required.

- Experience in programming and analysis.
- Experience supporting specialized software packages.
- Strong understanding of structured methodologies for application development, implementation, and maintenance.
- Experience using object-oriented and/or third-generation development tools.
- Experience with one or more programming languages.
- Experience with relational and hierarchical database technologies.
- Experience using information retrieval packages and query languages.
- Experience with communication protocols.
- Experience gathering and documenting requirements from business stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines.

Desired Qualifications

- Experience developing internet-ready applications.
- Knowledge of Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodologies.
- Understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies, and practices.
- Experience working with middleware and gateway technologies.




- Experience reviewing, analyzing, modifying, testing, and debugging installation scripts.
- Knowledge of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) standards and related regulations.

Technical Requirements

Oracle Development Experience

- Experience conducting impact assessments on Oracle E-Business application customizations and extensions.
- Strong conversion experience in Accounts Receivable Collections modules.
- Solid programming skills in Oracle Database, PL/SQL, SQL, XML, Unix Shell Scripting, and Oracle Data Integrator.
- Strong business knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Collections, Accounts Payable, and Inventory modules.
- Strong understanding of Oracle E-Business data structures.
- Experience with SQL performance tuning and partitioned tables.
- Knowledge of data warehouse concepts, ETL methodologies, and BI reporting tools.
- Experience with Java and Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) is an asset.
- Strong leadership, communication, and quality assurance capabilities.

Siebel Development Skills (40%)

- 10+ years of experience in Siebel technical configuration, design, development, and integration.
- 5+ years of experience integrating Siebel with Adobe AEM, J2EE, and related technologies.
- 5+ years of experience with Siebel EIM/EAI.
- 3+ years of experience with Siebel IP18 development and configuration.
- Experience with Assignment Manager, Business Rules, Workflow, Applets, Views, Screens, Scripts, and related business layer components.
- Experience using Siebel Tools and modifying Siebel Web Templates.
- Experience with Siebel Open UI classes and methods.
- Siebel 8.x or higher certification.
- Strong knowledge of Siebel Open UI Architecture, including Physical Model and Presentation Model.
- Experience with UI integrations between Siebel and external applications.
- Experience configuring Siebel migration solutions.
- Experience administering Siebel Approval Manager.

Report Development Skills (35%)





- Experience developing reports using OBIEE and Power BI.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS, jQuery, and JavaScript.
- Working knowledge of Open UI concepts, PM, PR, Manifest Files, and Mapping Files.

Public Sector Experience (Preferred)

- Experience with Public Sector CRM modules including Contracts, Lead Management, Campaign Management, Marketing, Resource Management, and eService solutions.
- Experience with Grants Management is considered an asset.

Work Arrangement

- Onsite position.
- 5 days per week onsite.

Must Have

- 10+ years of experience with Siebel technical configuration, design, development, and integration.
- 5+ years of experience integrating Siebel with Adobe AEM, J2EE, and related technologies.
- 5+ years of experience with Siebel EIM/EAI.
- Experience with OBIEE and Power BI report development.

Nice to Have

- Experience with Grants Management.
