Matrix HR is partnering with an established construction company to recruit an experienced Site Superintendent with multifamily wood-frame construction experience for a full-time, permanent opportunity in Calgary, AB.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, coordinating trades and subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

- Oversee daily construction activities and site operations
- Coordinate and supervise trades, subcontractors, and site personnel
- Monitor project progress, schedules, quality, and safety
- Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements
- Coordinate trades and ensure work is properly sequenced
- Identify and resolve construction issues and deficiencies
- Communicate with project managers, trades, suppliers, and other stakeholders
- Maintain a safe, organized, and productive job site
- Ensure work is completed in accordance with applicable building codes, safety requirements, and project standards

What You Bring

- Previous experience as a Site Superintendent, Site Supervisor, General Foreman, or similar construction leadership role




- Experience with multifamily wood-frame construction is required
- Understanding of wood-frame construction methods, sequencing, scheduling, and trade coordination
- Experience coordinating multiple trades and subcontractors on multifamily residential projects
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and keep projects moving forward
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence is required
