Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Snow Plow Operator to join our team during the winter season. This role is vital in maintaining safe and accessible roads, driveways, and parking areas by efficiently operating snow removal equipment. If you thrive in outdoor environments and enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting, this prospect is perfect for you!

Responsibilities

- Operate snow plow heavy equipment to clear snow from roads, parking lots, and walkways effectively and safely
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on snow removal equipment to ensure optimal operation
- Coordinate with team members to prioritize routes and complete snow removal tasks promptly
- Follow safety protocols at all times, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)




- Assist with ice control measures such as spreading salt or sand when necessary
- Document completed work and report any equipment issues or safety concerns to supervisors
- Support additional site maintenance activities as needed during winter months

Skills

- Valid driver’s license.
- Proficiency in heavy equipment operation, including loaders, tractors & skid steers.
- Knowledge of road safety procedures and winter weather conditions
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshoot equipment issues quickly
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in cold weather conditions for extended periods
- Prior experience with freight handling or industrial site operations is a plus
