We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Snow Plow Tractor Operator to join our winter operations team. We run newer model John Deere and Kubota tractors with MetalPless LiveEdge blades.

The Operator will be responsible for clearing snow and ice from roadways and parking lots. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a strong commitment to ensuring safe and accessible conditions during winter weather events.

As a Tractor Operator, you’re responsible for a designated route of sites for the season. Typical shifts are from 11 pm – 5 am. Preference will be given to individuals with previous tractor experience either snow plowing or farming.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate tractors with snow plow attachments and other snow removal equipment safely and efficiently.
- Explicit snow from roads, driveways, parking lots, and other designated areas.
- Perform routine pre- and post-operation inspections of equipment to ensure proper function.




- Report equipment issues or maintenance needs promptly.
- Follow all company safety protocols and municipal regulations.
- Work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required during snow events.
- Maintain communication with dispatch during shifts.

Qualifications

- Previous experience operating tractors, loaders, or heavy equipment preferred (snow removal experience an asset).
- Valid driver’s license (Class G or higher)
- Ability to work long hours in cold and harsh weather conditions.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with equipment operation and maintenance.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision.

Standby pay paid weekly. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $40.00 per hour
