Golden Arrow School Buses Ltd is seeking dependable, safety-conscious, and customer-service oriented School Bus Drivers to join our team for the Edmonton and surrounding areas. The ideal candidates will have a solid commitment to student safety, a clean driving record, and the ability to remain calm and focused under pressure. We’re looking for self-motivated individuals who take pride in their work, communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff, and can reliably follow routes and schedules.

No commercial driving experience? No problem

(Candidates should have at least 1–2 years of personal driving experience within Alberta or Canada to ensure familiarity with local road rules and safe driving practices).

Responsibilities:

· Safely transport students on scheduled routes

· Conduct daily vehicle safety inspections

· Maintain cleanliness and safety of the bus





· Communicate professionally withstudents, parents, and staff

· Morning and afternoon split shifts (6:30 AM start & 2:30 PM start)

· Other duties as assigned by Manager

Requirements:

· Valid Class 5 Driver’s License (Non-GDL) OR a Class 2S Driver’s License

· 1-2 years of driving experience within Alberta or Canada

· Clean 10-Year Driving Record

· Proficient in English (Spoken & Written)

· Successful completion of Drug/Alcohol Screening & Background Check

· Ability to attend Class 2 License Training (2 days in class, 1 day in yard)

· Must sign a 6-month contract with us on completion of training

Training is provided free of charge and sets you up for success on every route
