Position Description:
This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto and/or Client office (Downtown) at a minimum 4 days per week subject to change at any time.
BSA need to have work experience for regulatory reporting, familiar with client Capital market product, e.g. Loans/Deposit/Nostro/Vostro; client data i.e. Client Data Repository (CDR), Client Lifecycle Management (CLM), and Know You Client (KYC); Booking, e.g. Booking Data Repository (BDR).
The working hours will be extensive where candidate may need to join the call in early morning and late evening to accommodate the time zone difference.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Understand and analyze various product attributes from upstream systems, including Lending Products, Facilities, Securities, Securities Financing Transactions (SFTs), and Derivatives.
Quickly learn and apply new business and regulatory concepts, including LEF Risk Shifting, Credit Default Swaps (CDS), SFTs, Derivatives, Guarantees, and LC Fronting.
Perform data gap analysis across systems, processes, procedures, and data flows to identify gaps and support project requirements.
Develop reporting mapping logic, business requirements, functional requirements, and supporting documentation.
Communicate requirements effectively to Development and QA teams, perform testing, coordinate UAT, and support production implementation.
Contribute to process re-engineering and continuous process improvement initiatives where applicable.
Support user training and prepare relevant business and system documentation.
Track and report the BA team's progress, proactively escalating risks, concerns, dependencies, or issues that may impact project timelines to Project Managers and management.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Must have Skills:
8+ years of experience in systems implementation, process improvement, and/or systems re-engineering projects within a banking organization or consulting workplace.
Preferable if candidate can also speak Mandarin and Cantonese.
Undergraduate degree or higher, preferably in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline.
Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and delivery methodologies, including Agile.
Hands-on experience with SQL and data querying/analysis tools, including Hive, MS SQL Server, Teradata, HUE, and Dremio.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, and Access for analysis, documentation, reporting, process mapping, and project support.
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,000–$130,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
