We are currently seeking two experienced Risk Management Specialists to support large-scale capital and infrastructure projects within a Project Delivery Department-Matrix Organization.

Note*

This is a project risk-focused role (not Enterprise Risk Management)

Location

North York, ON (Hybrid - primarily onsite with some remote flexibility)

Duration

12-month contract with potential extensions

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate project risk workshops and meetings to identify, assess, and prioritize risks

Develop, maintain, and update project risk registers

Support project teams in implementing and maintaining risk management practices

Perform qualitative and quantitative risk analysis, including Monte Carlo simulations

Analyze cost and schedule uncertainties to support risk-informed decision-making

Develop risk profiles and compare against project contingencies (cost, schedule, etc.)

Provide regular reporting, including quarterly risk reports to project stakeholders

Contribute to the development of risk management procedures and work instructions

Updated and maintained risk registers

Quantitative and qualitative risk analysis reports

Quarterly risk reports and dashboards

Ad hoc reporting as required

Qualifications and Experience

20+ years of experience in project risk management, preferably within civil infrastructure or construction environments





Experience reviewing technical documents such as drawings, schedules, and cost estimates to identify project risks

Proven experience facilitating risk workshops with cross-functional teams

Hands-on experience with cost and schedule risk analysis

Familiarity with tools such as Monte Carlo, Oracle PRA, or @Risk

Solid understanding of engineering and construction methodologies

Strong communication skills and ability to work in a deadline-driven environment

Education

Post-secondary diploma or degree in Engineering (Civil preferred) or a related discipline

Experience in project planning, scheduling, or project management

Assets

Relevant certifications from organizations such as Project Management Institute (PMI) or AACE International (AACE)
