Strategic Project Manager – Executive Communications & Visual Storytelling

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly creative and strategic Strategic Project Manager – Executive Communications & Visual Storytelling who can transform complex ideas into compelling executive-level presentations and drive organizational alignment through impactful communication.

This individual will play a critical role in planning, positioning, and promoting strategic initiatives across the organization. Combining expertise in project management, visual design, executive communication, marketing, and team coaching, the successful candidate will help ensure projects are not only delivered successfully but are also effectively understood, embraced, and supported by senior leadership and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Management

- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of strategic projects and initiatives.
- Develop project schedules, roadmaps, and implementation plans using Microsoft Project and other project management tools.
- Monitor project milestones, timelines, risks, and deliverables.
- Prepare executive reports and performance updates for leadership teams.
- Ensure project objectives align with organizational priorities.

Executive Presentation Development

- Design high-impact presentations using PowerPoint, Canva, and other visual communication tools.
- Convert complex business information into clear, engaging, and persuasive visual content.
- Develop dashboards, infographics, executive summaries, and strategic communication materials.
- Apply advanced storytelling techniques to effectively communicate key messages and recommendations.

Strategic Communication & Project Marketing

- Develop communication strategies that maximize stakeholder engagement and project adoption.
- Promote projects internally by clearly articulating their value, benefits, and expected outcomes.
- Create concise, compelling, and audience-focused content for leadership communications.




- Support organizational change initiatives through effective messaging and communication planning.

Executive & Board-Level Support

- Participate in executive leadership meetings and Board of Directors presentations.
- Prepare briefing notes, strategic reports, and presentation materials for senior executives.
- Present recommendations and project updates with confidence and professionalism.
- Adapt communication styles to various audiences, from operational teams to executive decision-makers.

Leadership, Coaching & Team Development

- Coach and mentor project teams on communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement best practices.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Support teams in achieving project objectives through guidance, motivation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Encourage creative thinking and knowledge sharing across departments.

Required Qualifications

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- A Master's degree is considered an asset.
- PMP, CAPM, Agile, Scrum, Change Management, or equivalent certifications are highly desirable.

Experience

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, strategic communications, executive communications, consulting, or organizational transformation.
- Experience preparing presentations and materials for senior executives and Board-level audiences.
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional project leadership.
- Experience in corporate communications, branding, or marketing is considered a strong asset.
