We’re looking for an experienced tailor / seamstress / sewer to join our team in Vancouver. This role involves working with garments for court apparel production and custom suiting, focusing on precision, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.
The ideal candidate has strong technical tailoring skills, takes pride in their work, and understands the importance of delivering a high-quality finished garment.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in tailoring and alterations, preferably working with luxury menswear, custom suiting, or made-to-measure garments.
- Experience operating industrial sewing machines and pressing equipment.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction and alterations, including jackets, trousers, shirts, and formalwear.
- The ability to execute alterations with precision, consistency, and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a cooperative team.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple garments and deadlines.
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
