Assignment:

- Part-time 0.47 temporary replacement teaching position
- Instructing in an Elementary classroom
- Duties to commence as soon as possible and will continue until January 31, 2027 with the possibility of extension

Qualifications and/or Assets:

- Experience teaching in an elementary classroom setting would be considered an asset
- Strong understanding and application of effective literacy and numeracy instructional strategies
- Skilled in differentiating instruction to meet diverse learner needs
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with and guide Educational Assistants in supporting individual student programs
- Committed to working in a collaborative, team-focused learning workplace




- Proficient in using assessment to inform instruction and support student growth
- Effective classroom management that promotes a safe, inclusive, and caring environment
- Confident in integrating technology to support Alberta’s cross-curricular competencies, such as critical thinking, communication, and collaboration
- Familiarity with PowerTeacher would be considered an asset
- Dedicated to continuous professional learning and growth
