Assignment:

- Part-time 0.42 temporary replacement teaching position

- Instructing in the Bright Futures Play Academy program

- Duties to commence as soon as possible and will continue until January 31, 2027 with the possibility of extension

Qualifications and/or Assets:

- Experience teaching in a Pre-K or Kindergarten classroom setting would be considered an asset

- Strong knowledge and ability to effectively implement early literacy and numeracy instruction though play-based learning

- Ability to effectively communicate and foster relationships with caregivers

- Ability to vary instructional strategies to effectively meet a wide range of individual needs and abilities

- Robust interpersonal skills

- Willing need to work ion a team-orientated learning environment and be a positive team member





- Strong understanding of effective assessment strategies for/as/of learning

- Skilled in differentiating instruction to meet diverse learner needs

- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with and guide Educational Assistants in supporting individual student programs

- Effective classroom management that promotes a safe, inclusive, and caring setting

- Commitment to ongoing professional learning and growth
