In collaboration with a dedicated school team, you will help students overcome their difficulties, develop their full potential, and regain confidence in their abilities. Because appropriate support today can change an entire trajectory tomorrow. ✨

Responsibilities:

- Assess the learning needs of students with academic difficulties (reading, writing, mathematics, etc.);

- Implement targeted pedagogical interventions individually or in small groups;

- Support the development of students' learning strategies (organization, attention, memorization, comprehension);

- Adapt content, materials, and assessments according to students' needs;

- Use and integrate technological tools to aid learning when relevant;

- Collaborate with the school team (teachers, speech therapists, psychoeducators, administration, etc.);

- Participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of intervention plans (IP);

- Advise and support teachers in pedagogical differentiation and intervention strategies;





- Ensure regular monitoring of students' progress and adjust interventions accordingly;

- Work in partnership with parents and external stakeholders to promote student success.

Requirements

Desired requirements and skills:

- Robust interest in the clientele (mild intellectual disability, giftedness, learning support, language and communication, students with adaptation difficulties and psychopathology);

- Empathy and patience;

- Ability to motivate and engage students with learning difficulties;

- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment;

- Very good knowledge of spoken and written French.

Education

- Bachelor's Degree in Education - Special Education - Asset

- Bachelor's Degree in Psychoeducational Intervention - Asset

- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology - Asset

- Bachelor's Degree in Orthopedagogy - Asset

Qualifications

- Provisional teaching authorization - Asset

- Teaching certificate - Asset

- Probationary teaching license - Requirement

Languages

- Written French - High - Requirement

- Spoken French - High - Requirement
