We are seeking a dedicated Cashier to join our team who can work a 5 am shift or a 2:30 p.m. shift with an open-to-closed availability at a bustling restaurant. The ideal candidate will handle transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
Duties
- Operate the POS system to process transactions
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions
- Sanitize work areas and maintain cleanliness
- Assist customers with menu inquiries and provide recommendations
- Upsell additional items to customers
- Support food preparation by packaging to-go orders
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth service flow
Qualifications
- Experience in cash handling and operating a POS system is preferred
- Knowledge of basic math for accurate transactions
- Ability to work in a quick-paced environment
- Strong time management skills
- Familiarity with food handling and restaurant operations is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills and willingness to help customers
Pay: From $18.25 per hour
