In this role, the Boiler Safety Officer (BSO) will be dedicated to implementing safety codes and standards within the community. You'll conduct inspections, provide clear compliance direction, and create informative materials for industry stakeholders. Additionally, ongoing training and development of recent Safety Officers will be a significant aspect of your responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities: • Perform compliance inspections and audits on-site • Educate industry clients on safety codes and requirements • Document findings and prepare reports on safety updates • Support the training of new Safety Officers effectively • Investigate incidents and propose safety improvements
Requirements: • Completion of a two-year diploma in a related field • Experience in a power plant of over 1000m2 • Willingness to obtain NBIC commission • Knowledge of relevant safety regulations • Strong writing and computer skills
