About the Role

ADN Refrigeration is looking for an organized, motivated Technical Service Coordinator to join our team.

This position is a excellent chance for someone with formal HVAC-R technical training who wants to put their trade knowledge to use in a service environment. You will work closely with our technicians, customers, and suppliers while gaining hands-on experience with service coordination, estimating, dispatch, and day-to-day refrigeration operations.

This is an office-based role, but a technical understanding of refrigeration is important to the position. You will be working with service reports, equipment information, parts, repair estimates, and technicians on a regular basis.

Key Responsibilities

- Service Dispatch & Intake: Answer incoming service requests, gather job and equipment details from customers, and assist with scheduling and dispatching technicians.
- Work Order Review: Review completed technician reports and work orders for completeness and accuracy, including technical descriptions, parts used, and reported labour.
- Estimating & Billing Support: Source parts pricing and availability from wholesalers, assist with preparing repair estimates, and organize completed work orders for final invoicing.
- Customer Coordination: Communicate with customers regarding service calls, scheduling, follow-up work, and general service inquiries.
- Technician Coordination: Communicate regularly with field technicians to help keep service calls organized and ensure required parts, information, and follow-up work are tracked.
- Supplier Communication: Contact wholesalers and suppliers to confirm parts availability, pricing, lead times, and other information required for service work.
- Service Follow-Up:



Track outstanding service items, quotes, parts orders, and return visits to help ensure jobs are followed through to completion.

Qualifications
- Required: Completed HVAC-R foundations, technical schooling, or diploma from BCIT or another recognized trade program.
- Basic understanding of refrigeration systems, components, refrigeration cycles, and industry terminology.
- Strong computer skills and comfortable working with MS Office, email, and service management software.
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Clear and professional communication skills, both in person and over the phone and email.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities in a busy service environment.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Eagerness to develop skills in service estimating, project coordination, dispatch, and refrigeration service operations.

Experience Previous field experience in refrigeration or HVAC-R is an asset but not required. We are open to candidates who have recently completed their technical training and are looking to build their experience in the refrigeration industry.

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
