Purpose

The Theatre Technician Support Assistant provides technical and stage setup support during productions at Theatre Glendon under the direction of Manager, IT Operations.

Education

Completion of a diploma or degree program in Theatre Arts, Theatre Production, or related field.

Experience

Minimum of 6 months related experience.

Skills

Effective communication skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Ability to provide instruction and support others.

Knowledge of theatre event management.

Knowledge of audio and visual theatre equipment.

Additional Notes

Fluent French (Advanced level) is required. This position requires the candidate to produce a verification of degree(s), credentials(s), or equivalencies from accredited institutions and/or international equivalents at the time of interview. Ability to lift over 25 lbs.
