Become a critical part of CASA Mental Health as a Therapy Support Navigator in Slave Lake. This role involves working directly with Mental Health Therapists to foster resilience and implement effective treatment strategies. As the Therapy Support Navigator, you will collaborate closely with therapists to assist with case management, observation, and treatment plan execution.
Your role will encompass facilitating treatment groups for children and parents, and building relationships with community partners, schools, and families. The work is hybrid, and you will have the chance to significantly impact the mental health landscape. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Mental Health Therapists with case assessments
- Conduct observations and prepare comprehensive reports
- Facilitate parent and child treatment groups
- Coordinate with schools and community partners for patient success
- Document patient information in electronic medical records Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field
- Minimum two years of experience in mental health settings
- Active registration under Health Professions Act, if eligible
- Valid class 5 driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Capability to pass Therapeutic Crisis Intervention certification Contribute your expertise in case management and treatment strategies to empower young individuals and families at CASA.
