Duties

- Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks to transport propane over short and long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload propane using equipment, ensuring proper handling and secure placement of cargo
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues, perform basic automotive repairs if needed, and maintain vehicle safety standards
- Manage documentation accurately, including delivery logs, manifests, and inspection reports
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, staff, and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries




- Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery to load or unload cargo efficiently while maintaining safety protocols
- Perform routine maintenance checks on trucks and equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards

Skills

- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid Class 1 license
- Strong knowledge of propane handling procedures and safety regulations
- Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy equipment confidently
- Basic automotive repair skills for troubleshooting minor mechanical issues
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
- Attention to detail in managing documentation and vehicle inspections
- Physical stamina to handle loading/unloading tasks and long hours on the road
