Olivier's La Boulangerie is a French Artisan Bakery in BC, located in Coquitlam. Our team of Bakers, Packers, Sales, and Logistics work around the clock to produce and distribute bread and pastries without any chemical preservatives, GMO grain or high gluten elements to the entire lower mainland.

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Truck Loader to join our team on a part-time basis. The Truck Loader is responsible for preparing and loading products onto delivery trucks and safely moving company trucks around the parking lot as needed.

Schedules

Monday & Tuesday, with availability for additional days preferred The shift starts at 2:00 p.m. and generally lasts approximately 4–6 hours, depending on the day's workload. The end time may vary, as employees are expected to remain until the loading work is completed.

This role includes structured training to become a driver. You will step into driving duties when coverage is needed.

Key Responsibilities

- Load bakery products and other items onto delivery trucks according to the order sheets.
- Organize products carefully to prevent damage during transportation.
- Verify products and quantities before loading.
- Safely move and position company delivery trucks within the parking lot as required.
- Ensure trucks are properly positioned for loading and departure.
- Follow proper handling, stacking, and loading procedures.
- Assist with keeping the loading and warehouse areas clean and organized.
- Follow all food safety, workplace safety, and company procedures.
- Report damaged products, shortages, or other issues to the appropriate supervisor.




- Work efficiently to complete loading duties within the required timeframe.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Valid driver's licence and a safe driving record.
- Comfortable driving and maneuvering company delivery trucks within the parking lot.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Previous warehouse, loading, delivery, or food production experience is an asset but not required.
- Able to perform physical work, including lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be available to work Mondays and Tuesdays.
- Availability for additional shifts is an asset.

Working Conditions

- Part-time position with a start time of 2:00 p.m.
- Shifts are approximately 4–6 hours, depending on the workload and completion of the day's work.
- The position involves physical activity, including lifting and moving products weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Regularly moving company trucks within the parking lot.
- Work is performed in a warehouse/loading setting and may involve exposure to varying temperatures.
