Job Summary

Join our independently owned veterinary team as a Veterinarian. In this role, you will provide comprehensive medical care, perform diagnostics, surgeries and dentals, and deliver compassionate treatment to the patients in our small animal practice. We promote a proactive approach and dedication to ensure our clients receive exceptional service while maintaining the highest standards of care.

Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health status and identify medical issues.
- Diagnose illnesses and injuries using clinical skills, laboratory tests, and imaging techniques.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each animal’s needs, including surgeries, vaccinations, and preventive care.
- Communicate clearly with pet owners about diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care.
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients, documenting procedures,



treatments, and outcomes.
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to deliver seamless patient care and client service.
- Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine by participating in ongoing education and training, including laboratory experience when applicable.
- Perform soft tissue surgeries and COHAT procedures

Qualifications

- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid veterinary license to practice in British Columbia.
- Experience is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with clients and team members.
- Passion for animal health and a commitment to providing compassionate care.
- Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $90,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
