Duties

- Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures with precision and care
- Prepare animals for procedures by restraining, cleaning, and administering medications as directed
- Collect laboratory samples such as blood, urine, or tissue for testing, leveraging laboratory experience to ensure accuracy
- Maintain detailed medical records, update patient files, and document treatments thoroughly
- Provide client education on animal health, nutrition, and post-treatment care to foster informed pet ownership




- Monitor anesthesia during surgeries and assist with recovery to ensure patient safety and comfort
- Keep the clinic environment clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies to support efficient operations

Experience

- Previous experience working as a veterinary technician or in a related animal healthcare role is preferred
- Laboratory experience is highly valued to support diagnostic testing and sample processing
- Strong understanding of animal anatomy, physiology, and common medical procedures
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and educate pet owners
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations while providing compassionate care

Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour
